Cleaning ServicesOttawaWebsite accessibility
C&L wants clients, family members, property teams, and community contacts to be able to explore services and choose a comfortable contact route. This page explains the website features we are testing, known boundaries, and how to request help.
Current design approach
This is not a formal statement of conformance to a particular standard. It is a practical description of the current build and the checks being used before launch.
Pages include a skip link, visible keyboard focus, keyboard-operable navigation, native form controls, buttons with clear purposes, and arrow-key support in tab-style service explorers.
Pages use one main heading, descriptive section headings, text labels, lists, intrinsic image dimensions, useful alternative text, and plain-language boundaries around quotes and browser-only tools.
Decorative reveal effects respect reduced-motion preferences. Layouts reflow for smaller screens, controls are designed with practical touch targets, and colour is not intended to be the only indicator of state.
Contact without the form
The guided quote form is optional. You can call 613-850-0048 or email Info@clcleaning.ca. Tell C&L when you need information in a simpler format, more time to explain the request, or a different communication approach.
Review phone, email, and guided request optionsCleaning-service communication
Communication preferences for a cleaning relationship can be discussed during qualification and onboarding. Senior Care arrangements should keep the client at the centre while clearly identifying authorized scheduling, approval, payment, access, and update contacts.
See what to expect during onboardingKnown boundaries
The website quote path opens the device's email application; a copyable fallback is provided when that does not work. Phone and email links open the applicable device application. The Ottawa service map is an image, with neighbourhood and route information repeated in text on the service-area page. Browser-only checklists and plan tools do not save choices between visits.
Review methods
The production checklist includes structural HTML checks, broken-link review, image text and dimensions, form-label review, focus visibility, keyboard navigation, reduced-motion behaviour, small-screen layouts, zoom and text reflow observations, and current browser testing. Automated checks can find patterns, but they do not replace human review.
Call or email with the page and task that were difficult. Do not include alarm codes, payment information, or sensitive health details.
C&L can continue the initial cleaning conversation by phone or email while the website issue is reviewed.
The issue can be tested against similar pages and controls so a correction is applied consistently where appropriate.
